Q.   Can I get compensation without a lawsuit?

1. It would be nice if that were the case but generally asbestos companies still appear to want to keep their money instead of doing what many would believe is the right thing - making available financial compensation for what they have done wrong!
   
   Because corporations regulalrly deny that they are responsible legal action may often be the only way to obtain redress.
   
   If you live in certain states and fit certain circumstances you may be able to apply for workers compensation benefits. However, the level of financial relief that may be available by this latter option may be very limited and certainly nowhere near what people have recived via leagal action against companies.
