Onconase
Onconase is a recent chemotherapy drug that has shown significance in the treatment of mesothelioma. Comparing Onconase to Doxorubicin (its closest rival) shows Onconase is comparatively free of some of the severe side-effects of conventional chemotherapy cancer drugs.
Alfacell Corporation, the manufactuers of Onconase, have recently published details of its efficacy in treating Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer and have high hopes for it being used as a chemopreventive agent in mesothelioma.
